Professional Services Developer

What you’ll be doing…

• Perform hands-on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of ScienceLogic appliances as they relate to the ScienceLogic suite of products.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain integration flows to support automations and make business processes repeatable, scalable, and secure
• Develop and maintain consistent and up to date documentation of the design solutions
• Leverage APIs and other techniques/tools to build integrations across key systems
• Participate in group design and architecture sessions and function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence colleagues and senior management
• Review and translate customer use cases into detailed technical requirements.
• Implement custom solutions using ScienceLogic product line
• Create and deliver detailed solution build and configuration documentation.
• Act as the internal customer advocate for problem resolution, new product features, and future product direction
• Adhere to ScienceLogic Professional Services best practices.
• Expect ~10% travel for on-site work with customers and partners.

Qualities you possess…

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Thorough understanding of IT infrastructure, application, and enterprise infrastructure best practices
• A high level of understanding of the standard tools, workflow processes, and/or procedures and concepts used in the deployment and development of system integration solutions
• Experience with JSON, REST API, Informatica, Boomi, SnapLogic, Mulesoft, PowerFlow, or similar Integrations and development tools
• Experience with SAML, OpenAuth integrations with just in time provisioning, event-based provisioning, and batch provisioning
• Well versed with agile methodologies and source control (Bitbucket, GitHub)
• 5+ years Linux operating system experience
• 3+ years MySQL Database experience
• 3+ years of experience with SNMP and vendor MIB architecture
• 3+ years of experience configuring SNMP trap and/or Syslog alerts
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell, WMI, XML/SOAP
• Python and/or PHP experience
• Linux scripting experience
