Professional Services Project Manager

As part of Vonage Professional Services, the role of Project Manager (PM) is to provide Project Management on key Vonage customer projects. The PM will engage with a customer during both the Sales Cycle and Project Delivery. The project Manager will form a project delivery team including Professional Services Consultants, external partners, Provisioning, and Engineers. The PM will provide direction and leadership to the project team and take overall responsibility for the whole project delivery. PM will also provide senior level of support on customer escalations within the Professional Services team using their knowledge and skills to win back dissatisfied customers.

• Independently manage cross- functional project teams within complex business and technical projects for all types of customers/clients.
• Proactively engage with key client stakeholders to influence decisions about business process re-design, encouraging initial and/or further adoption of Vonage technologies, products and services.
• Work with client stakeholders and Vonage functional representatives to define/sell solutions based on client requirements. 
• Ensure the right people, processes and tools are put in place to enable effective project management and success.
• Define, consult and implement project management standards and processes for relevant teams or projects.

• • 10+ Years experience within Technical Project Delivery Experience in remote management
  • Have knowledge of and experience of using Project Management frameworks, disciplines, and policies (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2 or PRINCE2 Agile).
  • In-depth knowledge of people change management implications, techniques and practices.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a keen focus on financial management, value for money and procurement process.
  • Great ability to define and manage governance controls
  • Great understanding of how to motivate and negotiate with individuals including project team members, clients, senior stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to build teams and lead them to deliver successfully.
  • Strong analytical skills and complex problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Proven experience of leading complex technical/business change initiatives.
  • Change Management methodologies.
  • ERP or complex systems delivery involvement.

• Beneficial:
