ProFile Operations Manager - Remote

Manage the activities of operations staff to ensure completion of daily tasks and attainment of departmental goals. Manage execution, and maintenance of a business unit or department. Estimate time frames, quality, and quantity of resources required to successfully implement and carry out business enterprises. Handle personnel activities of staff (i.e., hire, train, reward, motivate, discipline, terminate, performance reviews, and pay discussions). Serve as the escalation point for issues beyond team authority; resolve conflicts involving scheduling, resources, or technical issues. Prepare forecasts and reports of current operations to senior management. Provide input into the budgeting of department's personnel, capital, and/or operations expenses. Requires travel within the US and internationally. Requires availability to work early East Coast hours.

Composition Management & Performance

• Create and execute plans to deliver Productivity and cost targets across the platform, including vendors
• Create and maintain capacity models for key segments of work
• Forecast demand based on guidance from Management, Finance and Sales
• Monitor performance to validate forecasts and adjust capacity as required
• Serve as point of escalation for production challenges and critical work
• Identify, track and manage activity trends and create plans to adapt the Composition platform to trends

Vendor Management

• Oversee performance of vendors through Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for quality, compliance to process, and on time delivery
• Monitor Service Report (SR) responses to verify appropriate Root Cause Analysis and Corrective and Preventive Actions; identify and respond to trends in SRs
• Establish regular communication cadence with offshore vendor leadership
• Determine measurable benchmarks for vendor performance

Transformational Leadership

• Lead a 24/7 team to deliver daily activity and future plans
• Facilitate change management within and outside of operations to accomplish transformation goals and DFIN strategy
• Envision new solutions to manage costs as DFIN strategy and ProFile demand change over time
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout DFIN to ensure a synchronized client experience
• Lead and participate on cross-functional teams to plan future workflows and initiatives
• Develop a team culture of growth and innovation; practice and reinforce DFIN leadership behaviors

This position will report to the Director of Operations.

• 5 years management experience
• Demonstrated history of delivering performance during periods of intense change
• Demonstrated history of innovation and continuous process improvement
• Demonstrated focus on developing individuals and teams
• Ability to travel internationally and domestically
• Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be available to work early Eastern time zone hours

• 7-10 years management experience
• Demonstrated experience managing the performance of offshore vendors
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, organizational behavior, or related fields
