The Program Analyst will support the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center as part of a team of providing technical and analytical support for various FMCSA’s safety programs and systems. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to FMCSA stakeholders for requests received via email, voice mail, and direct phone calls.

Enter, record, monitor and track requests received using software tools, including such tools as Excel, ZenDesk, etc..

Research and resolve customer requests by accessing and using FMCSA systems and outputs.

Document and communicate resolutions to requests using software tools, including via verbal and/or written responses with requestors, analysts, and other FMCSA personnel on disposition of requests.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with one-three year relatable and/or transferable experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in the use of MS Office product(s)

Ability to compile electronic documents from various sources 

Detail-oriented with strong quality assurance skills

Proven strong customer service skills

Ability to pass a Public Trust Background Investigation
