PROGRAM ANALYST

Specialized Experience: Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is experience which is in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Examples of specialized experience include:

• Participating in the development of grant program assessment goals and objectives, to include drafting the framework, task plan, and charter plan.
• Participating in internal grant program control activities (for example, authorizations, verifications, reconciliations), monitoring their use, and evaluating their performance.
• Analyzing grant program data utilizing analyses, such as comparative, case study, compliance, cost/benefit, gap, outcome, trend and/or statistical analyses.
• Conducting standard assessments of grant programs, legislative committee and conference reports, strategic plans and annual program plans, funding levels, and audits.
• Participating in the development of grant program outlines and storyboards that organize assessment information and results and presents them, that may include descriptive statistics or analytical findings.
