Required Skills:
  1. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or other equivalent certificationĀ 
  2. Knowledge of performance management, organizational systems and quality improvement.Ā 
  3. Knowledge of evaluation methods.Ā 
  4. Knowledge of developing and executing effective trainings and training material.Ā 
  5. Skills using Microsoft Office Applications.Ā 
  6. Skills in developing measures and objectives.Ā 
  7. Ability to develop measurable plans, both strategic and operational.Ā 
  8. Ability to analyze and use data for decision making.Ā 
  9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.Ā 
  10. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ā 
  11. Ability to successfully facilitate training sessions with diverse audiences both face-to-face and virtually.Ā 
Responsibilities:
  1. Support alignment of PMQI efforts to agency strategic objectives including those related to the community health improvement plan and strategic plan as directed by the Department. Successful alignment will include:Ā 
    • Providing consultation services to management and leadership related to PMQIĀ 
    • Aligning individual staff to strategic objectivesĀ 
    • Documenting, monitoring and reporting on progress via the Department’s Performance Improvement and Management System (PIMS) or other designated information system, dashboards, andĀ 
    • Providing additional Reports as determined by Department leadershipĀ 
  2. Participate and/or lead teams to accomplish agency strategic initiatives including identifying opportunities for improvement and completing quality improvement projects as directed by the Department. To achieve this, the position will support Department efforts to facilitate and lead a culture of quality by:Ā 
    • Assessing organizational needs and capacity,
    • Developing and executing PMQI related trainings,
    • Facilitating PMQI related planning sessions for stakeholders which may include county health departments, regional PMQI consortia, and Department leadership.Ā 
  3. Complete other duties as directed by the Department.Ā
