As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Controls Manager to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Controls Manager specializing in school construction, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of educational facility projects. Your expertise in project controls, budget management, scheduling, and quality assurance will contribute to the growth and excellence of our projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive project controls, including cost estimation, budget tracking, scheduling, and progress reporting.

Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and school administrators, to define project requirements and objectives.

Create and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and potential delays are proactively addressed.

Oversee budget allocation and cost management throughout the project lifecycle, identifying opportunities for cost savings and managing change orders.

Implement quality assurance processes to ensure projects meet design specifications, safety standards, and relevant regulations.

Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Provide regular updates to senior management and project stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Identify and resolve project-related challenges, using innovative problem-solving techniques to maintain project momentum.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements specific to educational facility construction.

Foster positive relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and external partners to enhance project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

Minimum of10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a focus on school construction or educational facility projects.

Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.

Strong expertise in project controls, budget management, scheduling, and quality assurance.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and construction-related software tools.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Leadership experience, including team management and collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams.

Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards relevant to school construction.

Relevant certifications such as PMP, CCM, or similar credentials are a plus.
