POSITION SUMMARY:

As an integral member of the Program Management team, this role provides support to verify requirements are met by clients seeking Informed Certification Program membership, to ensure active Members remain in compliance and to engage in administration of the Informed Certification Programs for LGC Sport and Specialised Analytical Services (SSAS).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Ensure that all relevant program documentation and sample testing has been completed with satisfactory results to allow certification of products, raw materials, and sites. Generate and issue certificates to Members upon completion of certification.
  • Work cohesively with Program Management colleagues to monitor and maintain the certification process's communicating with operational colleagues to ensure efficient processing of samples through the laboratory.
  • Track blind sampling, ensuring samples are purchased and submitted in line with program requirements.
  • Assist in the ongoing management of all certified products, raw materials and sites, ensuring compliance against program requirements Including Manufacturer reviews and Member reviews.
  • Assist in the management and monitoring of program non compliance cases. Work closely with colleagues and Members to achieve successful resolution of non compliance cases.
  • Work cohesively with Program Management colleagues to support review of Manufacturing Assessment Questionnaires (MAQs) against program criteria.
  • Contribute to report preparation and monitoring of actions in relation to site audits, attending audits with an experienced member of staff where necessary.
  • Generate and distribute data reports to ensure internal teams and Members are fully aware of relevant program activities and required actions.
  • Ensure full traceability of all records by following group record keeping procedures. Organise and maintain documents both in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database (Salesforce) and common shared drives as appropriate.
  • Communicate with business development, operations and web site coordinator to manage the addition/removal of certifications and ensure that product results are posted in a timely manner following testing.
  • Act in compliance with the Lexington site Health & Safety Policy.
  • Develop a sound awareness and knowledge of program acceptance criteria, relevant quality standards and scientific techniques employed.
  • Develop and maintain successful customer relationships and providing high levels of customer care for Informed-Sport and Informed-Choice Members relating to program matters.
  • Communicate effectively with relevant internal groups (e.g., Operations, Business Development, Marketing to support administration of the programs.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in all areas of program administration, generating and supporting implementation of improvement ideas.
  • Make timely and informed decisions, referring to Assistant Program Manager or above where necessary.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in science, business or related field.
  • Ability to write, read, comprehend, and speak English.
  • Strong performer with good written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
  • Well organized with acute attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across multiple time zones and cultures.
  • Excellent time management skills - ability to multitask on numerous projects.
  • Ability to identify and contribute to solutions to problems that hinder process efficiency, customer care, and program effectiveness.
  • Broad IT competence (Word, Excel, Database etc.).
  • Scientific qualification (desirable, not essential).
  • Commercial awareness (desirable, not essential).
  • Role may involve travel


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit for long periods of time; ability to maneuver around the laboratory; good dexterity and ability to rotate wrists, arms and shoulders. Must have good eyesight, hearing, and speaking voice; ability to lift and/or move approximately 10 lbs.
