Job Description

Responsibilities:

-Proactively assists and/or plans and implements program events such as conferences, seminars, lectures, meetings, and workshops for the various Specialists and Program Specialists located on-campus and off-campus.

-May assist in preparing and monitoring budgets for programs and events as requested.

-Responds to inquiries regarding program offerings and direct questions to appropriate personnel.

-Coordinates program communications and marketing.

-Compiles program statistics.

-Maintains program records and databases.

-May assist in identifying funding opportunities.

-Assists in planning and implementing programs and in their evaluation.

-May supervise junior program staff if available.

-Other duties as required.

Required Education and Experience:

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

-Two years of related experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

-Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

-Good verbal and written communication skills.

-Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

-Ability to approach the duties from a service perspective.
