Job Summary
Delivers professional acquisition management solutions and support for DoD and civilian agencies and departments. Responsible for acquisition planning and contract management functions required to support a project with a mission of development, acquisition, testing, integration, production and fielding. Serves as primary client contact. Will have supervisory responsibilities managing government programs of moderate risk and complexity for a large program.
Essential Function:
- Demonstrated ability to manage small teams, assign work priorities, ensure compliance with quality standards, and engage with senior government staff;
- Experience with and understanding of DoD/DON Acquisition Program Management disciplines;
- Experience with quality control oversight of product development and delivery;
- Schedules and assigns duties to subordinate staff on complex programs, and ensures assignments are completed as directed;
- Ensures work standards and reviews/resolves work discrepancies to maintain compliance with contract requirements;
- Interacts with client contracting officials, project officers, CORs and task managers, subcontractors and other management personnel;
- Reports in writing / verbally to upper management and client representatives; and
- Supervises interdisciplinary staff of employees.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- DAWIA/FAI certification (Program Management);
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Understanding of, and ability to support competitive bidding and proposal preparation.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Functional understanding of project management software
- Proficient with Mac computers
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
- Bachelor’s, Master’s degree, +20-yrs. of project management experience, preferably in a formal acquisition environment;
- Functional understanding of technical and contractual documents;
- Proficiency with MS Excel / MS Word / MS PowerPoint / SharePoint; and
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Job Requirements
- This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time
- This position requires the ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors
Clearance Requirements
- US Citizenship is required
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance
Telework availability
- Until further notice, this position will remain in a hybrid telework posture with the potential for weekly meetings on-site at the customer's location.
Primary Work Location
- Digital Cloak headquarters, Stafford, VA
Travel Requirements
- This position has local travel requirements up to 20%
