Program Director
Job Description
Chevo Consulting is currently hiring a Program Director with experience in budget execution and/or Business Management. Qualified candidates must be capable of leading projects that involve the successful management of large-scale, multi-functional teams. Specialized experience includes, expertise in management and control of funds and resources, and demonstrated capability in managing multiple tasks. This position will be a hybrid work environment. Client location is in Washington D.C.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise multiple project managers and analysts.
- Manage Contractor support operations on a day-to-day basis, overseeing multiple projects and groups of personnel at various locations.
- Coordinate and oversee all contract support activities, including planning and production.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Provide technical guidance to the project team and review the quality of all work products.
- Maintain client relationships at senior levels of the client organization.
- Direct and manage all contract operational support.
- Provide status reporting for the contract and individual Task Orders.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, schedules, and costs.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in business, public administration, or public policy.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- At least 14 years of business management experience, including 8 years in assignment supervision and management.
- Experience managing a program 300M in size or larger.
- Minimum of 10 years of project and program management experience.
- 10+ years' experience in a management-level positions working on a project portfolio worth at least $100M annually.
- At least 3 years of recent leadership experience advising senior executives and mid-level managers on large-scale federal programs.
- Prior experience supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
- Experience in federal budget execution and/or business management.
Desired requirements:
- Experience in financial management, cost estimating, procurement strategic planning and execution, or business management.
- Ability to lead multi-functional teams on projects.
- Experience in project development and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Expertise in management and control of funds and resources, demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects.
