SUMMARY:Β Β The Program Director provides administrative management and supports and engages a high-quality workforce.
Β
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Create a supportive environment in which to retain high quality employees
- Ensure adherence to organization-wide policies procedures and state and federal regulations, meeting certification standards if applicable
- Participates in all personnel functions for their assigned area
- Implements all agency Policies and Procedures
- Assists and instructs individuals with daily living skills, as needed
- Assists individuals with implementation of their facilitative plan
- Assist individuals with their medical, psychiatric and social-emotional needs
- Provides in-house and agency-contracted training and consultation services, as required
- Coordinates all community resources to ensure quality of life for the individuals they support
- Lead by example by supporting and implementing companywide initiatives, priorities and policiesΒ
- Foster a positive work environment while supporting a culture of teamwork, collaboration and communication
- When applicable, empower and support managers to effectively supervise employees with the goal of developing a cohesive, autonomous and clinically astute program team
Β RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate effectively with all agency personnel, as needed
- Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions
- Schedule staff and assignment of duties, complete staff evaluations
- Responsible to complete initial training and keep all ongoing training updated as required by policy and regulation
- Maintain all required certifications
- Communicate with parents and guardians, as appropriate
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS
- 2 years in the Human Service Field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driverβs license and safe driving record
- 18 years or older
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Computer skills
