Program Finance Analyst II

As a Program Finance Analyst, you will be using your skills and expertise to review, monitor, and control project data in support of our internal and external project reporting. You'll be responsible for preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and assisting with cost proposals, pricing documentation "what-if" cost analysis, program cost forecasts, and cost variance analysis. You'll positively impact the business by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
This position is located in Colorado under the Space Applications Business Area in the Orbital Systems product line. Work locations for this role are Louisville or Centennial, Colorado.
Sierra Space-based in Louisville, CO with operations in Madison, WI, Durham, NC, Huntsville, AL, Houston, TX, and Kennedy Space Center, FL-designs and manufactures the Dream Chaser spaceplane and other advanced spacecraft, commercial space destinations, satellites, propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraft subsystems and components for the U.S. government (including NASA), commercial customers, and international organization. Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study and at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Higher level degree may substitute for experience
• Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Ability to effectively and clearly communicate program and financial related information
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
• Hands on experience with Earned Value Management processes & software tools

Preferred:

• Deltek Cobra and MS Project tool knowledge to support Earned Value Management

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $68,926.06 - $94,773.33. Sierra Space considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
