Program Finance Analyst III

As a Program Finance Analyst III, you will be using your skills and expertise to review, monitor, and control project data in support of our internal and external project reporting. You'll be responsible for preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and assisting with cost proposals, pricing documentation "what-if" cost analysis, program cost forecasts, and cost variance analysis. You'll positively impact the business by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
This position is located in Colorado under the Space Applications Business Area. Work locations for this role are Louisville or Centennial, Colorado.

Primary Responsibility

• Partner with program leaders to develop deep understanding of the overall performance of the Applications and Advanced Programs portfolios, with data modeling and deep dive analysis on critical initiatives
• Be able to develop sophisticated, data driven models to support program and finance leadership on making decisions
• Understand key efficiency & productivity metrics that drive the business
• Prepare and contribute to executive presentations, telling the story of business performance, and risks and opportunities, using high impact visuals with compelling insights
• Lead projects to drive automation and operational improvement, reducing time to deliver, while improving accuracy
• Continual process improvements to help scale the business and automate data and reporting

Must-haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study and at least 6 years of relevant experience
• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Ability to effectively and clearly communicate program and financial related information
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
• Extensive hands on experience with Earned Value Management and supporting software tools including MS Project and Deltek Cobra

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $79,264.96 - $108,989.32. Sierra Space considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
