Customer Support and Investigation Services is part of Military Engines Global Sustainment Services.

The business unit manages the investigation process for engines, controls, parts, or Support Equipment that fail in the field or are involved in an aircraft mishap or safety incident. It also administers contract warranty provisions, defective product recalls, approved Special Support Requests, and contract guarantee provisions.

This business unit supports the F135, F119, F117, F100, TF33, and J52 engine programs.

As a Program Lead, you will have leadership responsibility and engine program oversight. You will also support the administration of contract warranty provisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishing work priorities, reviewing investigation final letters, auditing claim files, and resolving work stoppages.
  • You will assist with the training, coaching, and mentoring of analysts, to assist with career development.
  • You will be a key member of the CS&IS leadership team and is expected to actively contribute with the development and achievement of department Roadmap objectives.
  • You must actively use CORE tools to drive continuous improvement and serve as a positive role model for employees.
  • Contractual and technical validation of warranty claims
  • Determine warranty part repair or replacement
  • Provide warranty status reports
  • Possible international and domestic travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; degrees in Engineering or technical fields preferred.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in an analytical, project management, or business support role in a manufacturing environment.
  • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in aviation with general industry business knowledge that includes contracts, technical aptitude, finance, inventory, spares, or manufacturing operations experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • SAP experience
  • Self-motivated and possess strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a multi-tasking environment and work through problems to resolution.
