IFC's Human Resources (HR) Department provides strategic partnership to the business to develop and implement workforce strategies and meet organizational goals, including attracting, developing and deploying diverse and skilled talent.
• Client Services - offers strategic HR partnership, program implementation, support and solutions to staff and management globally;• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - supports the organization to build a diverse workforce, embrace equity, and foster an inclusive workplace;• Employment Framework and Recruitment - develops and supports HR strategy, policies/procedures, communications, and knowledge management; drives HR initiatives, such as staff engagement and Board reporting; and delivers recruitment solutions;• Talent and Incentives - designs best practice HR solutions in onboarding, mentoring, career management and mobility, performance/talent management, incentives and awards, and leadership development.
EmploymentFramework and Recruitment is seeking a Senior HR Officer to define and communicate the employee value proposition and employer brand, lead change management initiatives, produce reports to the Board and other stakeholders, and facilitate knowledge sharing within the department. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills in English are essential for the success of this role.
Duties and Accountabilities:
EVP and Employer Brand• Contribute to the definition and development of the EVP and employer brand aligned with business goals, corporate values, and the overall People Strategy and initiatives to drive employee experience, engagement and retention. • Formulate and implement a plan to consistently convey IFC's EVP and employer brand in the HR ecosystem, for internal clients and external candidates in order to attract, cultivate and retain high-caliber talent for the organization.• In collaboration with the Corporate Communications team, develop authentic and compelling communications strategies and materials for engagement with staff, candidates, and key stakeholders (presentations, briefings, newsletters, websites, videos, and social media content). • Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure return on investment of branding efforts.
Change Management• Create and implement change management strategies and plans for key HR initiatives in order to maximize employee adoption and usage and drive employee engagement.• Drive approaches to engage senior leaders, managers and supervisors to ensure awareness of and adoption of change.
Board Reporting• Ensure that HR's Board reporting accurately and consistently conveys a cohesive narrative, aligned with IFC's EVP and employer brand and in support of IFC's business objectives.• Gather and distill HR content for relevant Board reports (Strategic Business Outlook, Budget Paper, and Quarterly Budget and HR Report) and develop related opening remarks, talking points, and issues notes.• Maintain relationship with WBG HR Board reporting function to ensure alignment of messaging where needed.• Contribute to and review other Board and management reports, as well as related presentations and talking points.
Knowledge Sharing within HR• Develop and implement knowledge management strategy to facilitate consistent and value-added delivery of HR products and services aligned with the People Strategy.• Oversee the development and implementation of a suite of knowledge products and content, including intranet site, knowledge sharing platform, internal communications channels and branding assets.• Liaise between IT, Corporate Communications, World Bank Group HR and IFC HR to coordinate content and knowledge sharing efforts.• Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure return on investment of knowledge sharing efforts.
Selection Criteria
• Master's degree in human resources management, organizational development, business administration, communications, or related field.• At least 8 years of experience in HR in an international organization, private sector corporate or consulting environment with a proven track record of designing, implementing and driving complex initiatives and influencing at all levels.• Experience in leading teams and managing different stakeholders at the same time. • Genuine commitment to development and IFC's mission and values. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw insights from data and translate into strategic messages for a high-level audience. • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English; experience preparing professional quality client-ready materials.• Strong project management skills and knowledge of different methodologies (such as Agile, Lean, and Waterfall), with the ability to drive results and work effectively in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment• Strong quality control orientation and attention to detail.• Willingness, flexibility, and adaptability to roll up your sleeves and engage in various aspects of HR work from identification and design to implementation and monitoring.
