As a Program Management Associate within the Corporate & Investment Bank Finance & Business Management Projects team, you will collaborate closely with Finance users, Corporate Technology (CT), and external vendor consultants to deliver large scale programs/projects. Your responsibilities will encompass requirements gathering, design, testing, and operating model development. You will work in tandem with the Project Manager throughout the project execution, focusing on project plans, managing dependencies/risks/issues, and tracking benefits realization.
Over time, you will develop an in-depth understanding of each project and its associated business processes. Your role will be crucial in managing complex programs/projects either promoted by Finance or impacting Finance teams, spanning areas such as Regulatory Reporting, Business Expansion initiatives, Accounting & Control, and program governance.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop a deep knowledge in key areas of regulatory reporting and working closely with key stakeholders to ensure requirements are well defined and key benefits are understood.
- translate requirements driven from both internal and external stakeholders into a user story that defines the build for our development team
- Plan and execute testing to demonstrate that the in scope requirements have been delivered as planned
- Produce the required documentation around testing plans, testing execution and testing evidence to the standard required by our internal governance processes
- Work closely with the application development team to ensure user stories are delivered correctly and in a time frame that supports the UK and German reporting teams
- Support the reporting teams in the resolution of any critical day to day production issues and bridging across to the application development team and product owner to ensure these are resolved.
- Support changes made by upstream suppliers of data by providing impact analysis and co-ordination of testing
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Exceptional understanding of accounting, banking/finance products.
- Excellent in data analysis with the ability to gather and validate facts, define gaps, perform impact analyses
- Detail oriented and proficient in documentation
- Great understanding or inclination to learn data structures, system/data flows
- Exceptional communication skills
- Advanced desktop skills particularly in Excel
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Recent experience in other Tier 1 or 2 banking institutions particularly around EMEA Regulatory reporting.
- Projects or Change Management Business Analyst in banking finance domain (writing requirements or BRD or JIRA, writing functional specifications, create test cases, perform UAT testing)
- Understanding of SQL (structured query language) and exposure to desktop automation tools like Alteryx
- Exposure to JIRA (Project Management Tool associated with the agile methodology) or similar applications
- Exposure to a modern software development life cycle in a large/complex environment.
- Understanding of Agile Software development principles and preferably practical experience in this type of delivery
- Regulatory experience pertaining to Capital reporting or Financial reporting will be added advantage.
