Program Management Sr. Advisor, Analytic Formulary Solutions - Express Scripts - Remote

SUMMARY:

The Program Management Sr. Advisor, Analytic Formulary Solutions is an analytical role responsible for using pharmaceutical claims data in support of modeling, targeting, implementation, and reporting for our National Standard Express Scripts formularies. An emphasis will be placed on clinical data analysis, trend evaluation, monitoring of formulary performance metrics, and participation in project management initiatives. This role will work cross-functionally with our Formulary Solutions operational partners, Knowledge Solutions Analytics Team, Office of Clinical Evaluation and Policy (OCEP), Medicare and Commercial Formulary Solutions Strategy Teams, and Supply Chain Product partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Design, build, and/or maintain multi-user, multi-client databases for pharmacy claims data querying.
• Through the database, support Competitive Product Category audit and compliance tools for Commercial and Medicare programs as applicable.
• Maintain the formulary weekly tracking changes database to support Audit on all the National formularies.
• Assure application backups, performance tuning, and quality measures are maintained.
• Implement process improvements to drive efficiencies across the team.
• Analyze and summarize data.
• Build ad hoc reports to assist Value Assessment modeling analysts in development of a drug category specific strategy recommendations.
• Assist with ad hoc projects to help support the Formulary Solutions team.
• Perform landscape comparative analysis as applicable to support annual formulary change recommendations.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:

• Bachelor's degree preferred in related field
• 5 to 8 years of analytics experience
• Excellent PC skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and MS Access; experience with databases required
• Prior analytical modeling experience within healthcare field preferred
• Experience with SQL preferred
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 103,700 - 172,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
