Program Management Support Specialist
Job Description
As a Program Management Support Specialist, you will:
• Assist customers in developing acquisition packages that are compliance with FAR and OPM regulations, and that will allow contracting officers to purchase the good and services required by program offices. • Research and assist program personnel in preparing acquisition strategies to include drafting performance work statements. • Provide ownership and program management oversight of the acquisition process to ensure program office requirements are purchased within the timeline expected. • Maintain constant and effective communications with stakeholders to ensure expectations on receipt of goods and services are met. • Monitor and track receipt of deliverable. • Assist CORs in tracking spending against their respective contracts. • Document project meetings and customer communications.
YOU BRING:
• Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields: accounting, business finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, and/or organization and management. • At least 10 years with full lifecycle federal contracting experience. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification • Experience providing full lifecycle contracting support with the federal government. • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. • Experienced in pre-award document development, preparing solicitations, reviewing responses to include price analysis. • Experience preparing for negotiations, drafting contract awards, and overseeing contract deliverables.
ALSO IDEAL:
• Master's Degree in Business or Government Contracting • FAC-C or DAWIA Level III Certification in Contracting or equivalent
