Responsibilities

The Program Manager will be responsible for the following:

Support an acquisition program office at the Life Cycle Management Center at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

Serve as a Program Manager - Test Support Engineer supporting multi-specialty teams to achieve results specified by program leadership in aircraft research, development, production, and lifecycle acquisition and sustainment activities; provide assistance across functional areas to address development, testing, and fielding concerns. Prepare and coordinate briefings, reports, acquisition documentation to meet DoDI 5000 requirements. Provide recommendations with supporting rationale to resolve programmatic or technical issues.

Contributes to development of Milestone documentation to assist the client in progressing through the accquisitoon process. Supports various USG-internal meetings.

May report to a supervisor or manager.Works day-to-day taskings within the client program office team. Supported by a multi-disciplined firm team specializing in engineering, program management, test engineering, logistics, and financial management.

Work will be conducted remote, at the Guidehouse office, and at the client site as requirements dictate.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are REQUIRED to be considered for this role:
  • Secret clearance
  • Minimum of three (3) years-experience in program management or test management, of which at least three (3) years are in DoD, aircraft, or weapon system acquisition.
  • Accredited bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or related field.
  • Proficient is MS Office products as well as written and verbal communication skills.
The following experience/education/skills are PREFERRED to be considered for this role:

  • Eight (8) years experience in program management or test management.
  • DAWIA certification in multiple functional areas.
  • Familiarity with project management and test planning development principles as well as scheduling and scheduling systems.
