Program Manager

Location: Harrisburg, PA
Position Type: Remote with occasional travel to the office for meetings.
Contract Length: 9 months
Position Overview:
The Senior Program Manager will lead a critical Human Resources project. This remote position requires expertise in project management, particularly in SAP solutions. It involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, aligning business goals with technical solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing IT projects, and a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. Basic understanding of SAP system architecture and relevant SAP software solutions, such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP SuccessFactors is required.
Duties:

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining objectives, timelines, roadmap, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate project activities, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress against established goals.
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple agencies and cross-functional teams to develop and refine the current state model and define the transition to the future state model.
• Communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Prepare and present regular status reports and updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and communicating milestones and challenges
• Solicit feedback and input from stakeholders to inform project decisions and drive continuous improvement.
• Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Required Skills:

• Four years of experience in leading complex IT systems development or implementation projects and a bachelor's degree.
• 4 years of experience leading complex IT systems development or implementation projects
• 3 years of experience with SAP System Architect and SAP Software Solutions
• 3 years of experience with SAP Data Mapping
• 3 years of experience with SAP system architecture and relevant SAP software solutions (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP SuccessFactors)
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects, preferably with experience in SAP reporting solutions.
