Job Description
As an Program Manager for Striveworks’ portfolio for military operations you will be challenged - and trusted - on day one to take ownership of efficient and effective functioning of engagement operations. You will be responsible for overseeing various operational aspects of project execution, resource allocation, process optimization, and team coordination. Your role will contribute to the company's success by ensuring smooth workflows, timely project delivery, and the alignment of operational processes with strategic goals, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.Â
You are right for this challenge if you value technical expertise and you enjoy pushing the boundaries of your own capabilities. If you are passionate about the implementation of software capabilities that support systems operations, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivery of multiple, disparate MLOps implementation projects across an assigned portfolio
- Serve as the main point of contact for project specifics and work autonomously to solve problems and manage execution risk.
- Drive efficient project execution for multiple, geographically dispersed activities within contract scope for time and resources
- Engage with customers and internal software deployment teams to identify risks
A Project Operations Manager on the Striveworks Engagements Team leads project activities with attention to detail, sound decision-making, and organizational skills. They are directly engaged cross-functionally with other Striveworks departments, the customer, and the execution team. The role demands sound judgment for creating customer value, while supporting the creative, technical activities of the execution team. You will have a direct contribution to the success of mission-critical systems within National Security and Commercial clients. Your ideas are welcome and invited on day one; there is no smartest person at Striveworks. You will be expected to wear multiple hats, step into vacuums where more work is needed, and will be given the breadth to overcome ambiguity. You will work side-by-side daily with software engineers, data scientists and end users of our products.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $135,000-185,000/year. Striveworks’ total compensation package includes a competitive base salary, annual performance-based equity grants, and a lucrative yearly cash bonus.Â
This position offers a fully remote work environment or you can work hybrid/onsite at our office in northwest Austin, TX. This position requires up to 30% travel to globally-dispersed customer sites.
The Right FitWe spend a lot of time during our hiring process talking about shared values.Â
Why? We passionately believe that fostering an environment where people can self-actualize and pursue greatness is the best way to achieve our individual and collective goals.Â
What does this mean for you? We want to provide you with the conditions to thrive in an environment where you can achieve your goals, where you know the team shares your goals, and where you make and accept decisions for the team with humility. At Striveworks, we want your say/do ratio to be 1 and to know that being part of a top-tier team means that there is no smartest person in the room. If that makes sense, we are already on the same page.Â
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret U.S. security clearanceÂ
- 4-6+ years of relevant professional experience with military operations at the Corps level or higher (Special Operations or military crisis operations)
- 2+ years of experience with technology implementations and systems integrationsÂ

We are very interested in candidates who possess the above qualifications, and we appreciate and consider the addition of:
- Blend of traditional commercial product management and military experienceÂ
- Prior experience working with SaaS, PaaS, and other software-as-a-service modelsÂ
- Thorough understanding of DoD customer environments, both technical and “on the ground” conditions
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development practices; familiar with project estimation techniques.
- Exceptional project planning and communication skills; ability to surface direct and positive outcomes from diverse interests of people and teams
- Top-of-market salary and total compensation
- Generous equity plan
- Health/vision/dental insurance
- Flexible PTO
- Parental leave
The world has looked to data analytics to bridge the gap between floods of data and the struggle to use that data effectively to make timely, impactful decisions. Today, most organizations are awash in analytics that “aren’t quite right”—models that were developed too generally, or too slowly, to be effective in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Striveworks is simplifying ModelOps with a powerful and extensible platform that instantiates the data analytic process as code.Â
Striveworks is trusted by leading Fortune 500 firms as well as leaders in the public sector as a primary solution for managing model development, monitoring, and governance—and ensuring those models solve the real challenges their organizations face.
Striveworks’ Chariot platform enables users to turn their own production data into models and turn models into production systems. Uniquely, as you train, test, deploy, and use models, our lineage system enables you to track not only the “upstream” provenance of model and data sources, but also the “downstream” usage of the resultant model inferences. Combining this with a principled experience for data and model development, Chariot gives our customers in highly regulated industries an unmatched governance solution over the top of a performant ModelOps platform.Â
