Program Manager

RarisRex is looking to select a Program Manager to support our US Census Bureau (USCB) customer. The Program Manager will leverage their comprehensive expertise to support the ongoing development and transformation of large applications and data to support the digitally transformed USCB. USCB has a variable computing workload that requires real-time scaling IT environments to become one of the largest and most successful production environments running in the AWS GovCloud region. We require an innovative PM who can help our customer continue to transition, operate and scale their applications in a new, highly secure enterprise cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the program manager typically responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple and/or remote locations.
• Provide overall direction of program activities.
• Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer’s organization.
• Hybrid work environment. Census Bureau is primarily remote, though likelihood of at least one day per period (~every 2 weeks) in office in Suitland, MD.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree and 20 years of professional experience or a Bachelor’s Degree and 22 years of experience may be substituted.
• PMP and Agile certification (i.e. SAFe, CSM, etc.)
• Agile project management experience
• 10+ years of experience managing programs in excess of $300M using EVM principles
• Experience managing successful large, complex, high visibility programs at a federal statistical agency or designated High-Impact Service Provider (HISP) agency.
• Experience leading development programs with data/statistical requirements; programs with Big Data Engineering, AI/ML, and/or Cloud development components particularly desirable
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
• US Citizenship required

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $300,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
