Job Description

The Program Manager works under the guidance and mentorship of the "Manager, Program Management" to lead the ongoing execution of the organization's Objective and Key Results (OKRs) program and is responsible for executing on prioritized Product Delivery programs. The Program Manager assists the business in defining success metrics, process improvements, with focus on cross functional alignment, communication, execution, and outcomes to accelerate growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Works closely with organizational leaders and functional teams to facilitate the successful execution of quarterly OKR cycles, drive adherence to OKR best practices and ensure timely completion of key process steps
  • Builds and executes communication plans to sustain visibility and keep leaders and employees informed of program progress and changes
  • Defines and implements training programs that educates and coaches the organization on process improvements and tool utilization and/or integration
  • Leads and cultivates a community of practice comprised of OKR Champions delegated to guide leaders across the organization on OKR methodology best practices
  • Participates in quarterly and long-term strategic planning initiatives
  • Partners with department leaders on process and tool integrations and synergies
  • Lead project and program delivery for prioritized GHX initiatives from concept through delivery maintaining a unified delivery plan including milestones, dependencies and timelines across matrixed technology, product, and operations teams
  • Maintain a high level of communication and visibility across teams on status, dependencies, investments, and emerging needs
  • Maintain program budgets including resource and hiring plans, one-time expenses, and tracking of achievement of performance targets for portfolio investments
  • Surface risk, blockers, and dependencies and facilitating resolution and decision memorialization
  • Partner and collaborate across matrixed teams translating strategic initiatives into actionable outcomes

Key Duties
  • Collaborate on OKR program improvement roadmap and manage assigned deliverables
  • Define and create program plans and artifacts throughout the software development lifecycle across platform, infrastructure, data operations, customer operations surfacing dependencies to be managed and requirements for prioritization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to establish key milestones, activities, and dependencies though successful launch and go-to-market to ensure organization is enabled to successfully deliver and sustain solutions in market
  • Establish and manage portfolio cadence for program reporting and quarterly planning (including Objectives and Key results) across matrixed teams including intake, prioritization, progress reporting, and stakeholder demos
  • Facilitate team alignment and effectiveness throughout the quarter by capturing issues, actions, blockers, and dependencies and working them to resolve with appropriate team members and leadership as needed
  • Manage scope to ensure agreed time, cost, and quality parameters are met
  • Represent assigned programs at governance and inter-department forums
  • Lead process improvement initiatives through feedback, implementation, and training

Required Education, Certifications, and Experience
  • OKR methodology practice or leadership
  • Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 7 years' professional work experience, with 3+ years of experience related to leading organizational change management initiatives or advancing a PMO function
  • Work experience in a SaaS company

Preferred Experience
  • PMP or CSM certification
  • Agile certification or experience
  • Change management experience
  • Budgeting and finance experience

Compensation Range for the Program Manager is: $75,000-$100,000
