Program Manager

 The Role An experienced and proactive individual who will be responsible for leading multiple digital streams of production work for our global client. The Programme Lead has day-to-day liaison with our client facing Programme and Project management teams and works closely with the Sr. Project Manager(s) to ensure that work is delivered to a high standard, work is planned in and resource requirements are dealt with in a timely fashion.  Responsible for: 

• Ensuring requirements are comprehensively gathered, gaps are resolved and estimates are provided by the team with effective caveats and assumptions around timelines. 
• Oversight of Sr. Digital Project Manager(s) delivering individual projects. Ensuring that work is well planned, co-ordinated and remains on track for delivery as per committed timelines.  
• Providing the teams with guidance and resolving day-to-day challenges to ensure that the programme objectives are met.  
• Oversight of production pipeline, monitoring of team availability vs utilisation ensuring that efficiencies are maintained and risks are mitigated. 
• Swift and concise responses to the internal team’s concerns, ensuring that issues are resolved. 
• Embedding and sharing best practice and continuous improvement, enhance processes, workflows, documentation, tools and efficiencies to ensure team success. 
• Working in collaboration with the QA team ensuring that project delivery meets the quality needs defined by best practice and client expectations. 
• Coaches the team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the team. 
• Training and Onboarding new team members. Identify training requirements and organises training session. 
• Manage and optimize internal workflow to ensure / increase productivity 
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence. 
• Attend internal meetings as a representative of the Digital production team as and when required represent Hogarth to the client and other third party partners. 
• Senior delivery contact for internal team, including escalations 

Accountable for: 

• Production Lifecyle: ensuring high quality of work from the point at which a brief is accepted by the production team through to it’s return for Hogarth programme management review. 

Success looks like: 

• An ability to interrogate briefs and train the team to do so ensuring that all information is in place prior to work being started.  
• Smooth delivery of programme of work across content production and web/app development on platforms like Drupal, Magento. 
• Profitable execution of production through the team. 
• Understanding and implementation of strong agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps) 
• Strong team management experience through mentorship.  
• Over 12+ years of project management experience under your belt.
