Introduction:

The Program Manager (PgM) will be responsible for the day-to-day management of complex Professional and Installation Services projects and programs within our retail environment. The PgM will have a background in value-selling to identify business needs coupled with the ability to develop customized innovative solutions to solve client business problems. The PgM will advise and review program(s), resource(s), and test plans across their respective portfolio. The PgM will also demonstrate significant domain and discipline knowledge in translating team/client requirements into plans, as well as defining detailed program plans with all delivery phases for Toshiba's solution enhancements and future phases. The Program Manager will also serve as mentor and first point of contact for the Project Managers regarding any delivery issues under the PgMs accounts/responsibilities. The PgM will be the point of contact for upper management regarding the status of the account and all tasks therein and should have a good understanding of the financials for reporting purposes. The PgM should be comfortable and confident in leading and directing the PMs who are managing the individual projects under the PgMs umbrella. The PgM should be experienced leading meetings with C-Level stakeholders and leading cross-functional/matrixed teams.

Accountability:

• Accountable for overall program execution and solution delivery across complex projects requiring navigation of various levels of matrixed TGCS and Client organizations with 3rd party vendor participation
• Lead frequent program updates to Client and TGCS executives
• Manage baselined budget, scope, and time and incorporate the appropriate change controls policies and processes into program management practices
• Analyzing/managing program risks
• Provide leadership and direction to TGCS Architects, Business Analysts and Project Managers
• Drive future release planning and delivery

Responsibilities:

• Execute established framework for program communications, reporting, governance, and contractual activity
• Overall program Scope & Risk management
• Risk Identification and Mitigation strategies
• Issue Escalation and Management within client and Toshiba
• Overall program execution and client satisfaction
• Managing the efficient service from Toshiba organization segments Development and Testing and across client Business and IT organization segments through all development, testing, and support stages
• Administer change control process
• Day-to-day overall responsibility for Toshiba client delivery across all Toshiba deliverables
• Day-to-day leadership of Toshiba delivery personnel
• Represent delivery teams in joint reviews, management, committee reviews, and Steering Committee meetings
• Program tracking and reporting, including defining detailed program plan with delivery phases for Toshiba solution enhancements and future phases
• Focus in reducing delays from both organizations and removing bottlenecks
• Work with client program team to establish delivery milestones or PI Plan for agile projects
• Obtain and sustain the commitment of key client personnel necessary for program execution
• Review whether the baselined budget, scope, and time are under control and the change controls are incorporated as per process
• Follow-up and review significant project milestones and client's acceptance

Required Skills:

• Bachelors / Masters Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8+ years of program management experience leading moderate to large teams in complex software implementation and systems integration as consultant, vendor, or client
• 5+ years of leading client account solution delivery and commercial management across multiple work streams and client organizations
• 7-10 years of Agile framework experience
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word and Visio
• Strong executive presentation, written, oral, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively across multiple levels of TGCS and Client organizations
• Member of Project Management Institute
• PMP® certification

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in experience retail software implementation, POS equipment, order management, or eCommerce
• Negotiation and contract writing proficiency
• Ability to analyze data, tease out appropriate actions, and communicate data-driven decisions
