Position Summary
Arcesium seeks a Program Manager to provide strategic vision for major Tech R&D programs and act as a relationship manager for our largest client. This person will be responsible for developing new technology processes in support of software development, tools for the client's high-volume, straight-through processing environment, and will work with US- and India-based teams to analyze, develop and implement new applications.
Responsibilities- Support software development activities and ensure we deliver a superior level of service across all of Arcesium's offerings- Work closely with development and product management teams to design and implement technical solutions- Manage a program of technology initiatives across a variety of different disciplines to achieve each business unit's vision- Coordinate and oversee deliverables across a distributed team, and manage and own the team's projects end to end- Present to, and collaborate with, senior members of a hedge fund organization- Manage a discretionary development budget
Qualifications- The ideal candidate will have at least 8-10 years of program management or consulting experience and have a bachelors degree, preferably with a background in finance or technology- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong proficiency in process governance and managing software development roadmaps- Helpful functional expertise includes: relationship management, process re-engineering and analysis, data modeling, vendor analysis, ROI/IRR calculations and best practices for developing and delivering technology- The candidate should have experience with alternative assets, hedge fund middle office operations, and accounting- An understanding of software development processes is preferred, but a passion and aptitude for technology is a must
