About you

We are looking for a Program Manager responsible for coordinating multiple projects that are used to meet a program’s main goals, that oversees the entire process and offers strategic guidance to Project Managers while ensuring proper communication between interdependent teams in the company. 

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• +7 years of experience as Project Manager
• Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent. 
• Certification(s) in Agile Scrum methodologies
• Leadership skills: Innovate Thinking, diligent and willing to contribute.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders from different clients 
• Deep knowledge of business 

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Foster a strong relationship with the client’s key players, working together with CRMs to ensure understanding of strategic shareholders’ expectations looking for growth opportunities.
• Planning and monitoring the projects in terms of development cadence and quality.
• Manage interdependencies and coordination across projects to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders (Internal and external) and that key performance indicator are monitored and evaluated.
• Managing project risks, including the development of contingency plans.
• Monitoring and controlling budget execution, determining and executing the necessary measures in order to correct towards achieving targets.
• Deep understanding of the contract and its execution and manage change orders.
• Monitoring and supervising budget execution.
• Develop junior project managers to improve their skills and prepare for their current and next role.
• Handle client escalations by working together with related areas in order to ensure proper delivery.
