Gigamon is looking for a skilled and collaborative Program Manager to join the Global Program Office and contribute to our growth journey. The ideal candidate is business minded, flexible, highly organized, and a problem solver who can quickly grasp business needs and issues and be comfortable presenting to the executive management team.
You are responsible for developing, monitoring, and executing the initiative/program per scope, schedule, and budget. You can lead complex simultaneous projects and develop recovery strategies for those that deviate from their plan.
What you'll do:
- You will design, build and maintain the project plan, including scope, schedule, and risk management.
- Practice effective project cost accounting to both forecast budget and manage costs
- Lead the gathering of project requirements and scope holistically across multiple business functions and optimize per the schedule and budget constraints
- Monitor progress in planning and designing a recovery strategy if the project deviates from the baseline plan
- Identify and establish partnerships with stakeholders to build support, secure sponsorship, and ensure alignment for program outcomes.
- Evaluate program progress and results against program objectives, and create or re-engineer processes, tools, and structure to improve productivity and overall program outcomes.
- Communicate and manage the impact to avoid surprises
- Design and deliver Executive-level presentations to support governance of critical and strategic projects
- Define and lead effective program meetings to communicate status and coordinate efforts
What you've done:
- 10 years of strong Program Management experience in GTM, Product, Marketing, or related field
- Must have a minimum of 8-10 years of product, project, or program management experience leading complex programs/initiatives
- Expertise in the use of standard tools for program management
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years experience equivalent work experience managing projects
Who you are:
- Ability to drive communications to cross-functional teams consistently and effectively across written, verbal, and presentation formats to a variety of audiences, from project team members to Executives
- Proven ability to lead and think strategically and tactically and to build consensus to make programs successful
- Excellent communications and technical presentation skills
- Intellectually curious to understand strategic concepts and translate them to program risks and benefits and identify cross-functional dependencies
- Should be able to deal well with rapid changes and feel comfortable navigating uncertain/ambiguous situations

The base salary compensation range targeted for this role based out of Gigamon's Santa Clara, CA, Headquarters office is $123,000 - $160,000, with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in the Company's standard employee benefit programs, which currently include health insurance, health savings accounts, life, AD&D, disability, 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, paid time off (holidays, vacation, and sick), tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program (EAP), business travel accident insurance, employee discounts, and employee referral program. Additionally, employees in this position are eligible to participate in the Profit Interest Units plan.
