We are seeking a dynamic Program Manager to coordinate and lead activities focused on hybrid cloud solutions within the Z Ecosystems. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker a strong collaborator and a proactive leader with a passion for driving the ZGSI mission through enablement and co-creating solutions through Proof of Concept (PoC) and Proof of Technology (PoT) engagements with the solution architects.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Project Manager or Program Manager the primary responsibility is to define and manage tasks and actions ensuring their successful execution through effective coordination. This role requires collaboration with IBM Z teams including solution architects product management professionals and SI partners to drive alignment with ZGSI mission and deliver impactful outcomes.

The role leads enablement of System Integrator partners and involves supporting GTM initiatives like running Z conferences System Integrators and client workshops and so on. Requires the person to have a strong experience in project management and background in IBM Z would be very helpful. The program manager plays a central and critical role in supporting the Z Ecosystem SI leader to create a strong partnership driving in-place modernization with solution offering skill enablement and Innovation .This role is pivotal to supporting the ZGSI mission of enablement and fostering partnerships that deliver enterprise-grade hybrid cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive enablement initiatives that build skills and foster innovation within the Z Ecosystem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-create and deliver solutions through PoC/PoT engagements.
• Coordinate activities related to hybrid cloud solutions ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Lead efforts to integrate hybrid cloud capabilities across Z Ecosystem teams emphasizing seamless collaboration and innovation.
• Advocate for enterprise agility and drive adoption of cloud-native experiences
• Develop and execute programs that leverage AI automation and security to enhance hybrid cloud solutions.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and standardized processes tools and methodologies within hybrid cloud initiatives.
• Foster a unified hybrid cloud platform strategy to eliminate organizational silos and improve operational efficiency through AIOps.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 8 to 10 + years of IT industry experience.
• Strong Project Management Program Management skills with relevant experience.
• Exceptional Analytics skills
• Technical exposure to Hybrid Cloud Environment Modernization and Mainframe system
• PMP Certification would be desirable.
• A strong past technical background especially with Mainframe Systems (zSystems) will be helpful
• Exposure with Global System Integrators (GSI’s) Managed service providers (MSP’s) and Captive Clients would be great.
• A strong knack in grasping technology will help you perform this role in a very effective way.
• Strong communication skills both oral and written is a must.
• Strong skills in MS Excel pivots charts and excellent presentation skills.
• Experience in managing project teams overseeing team dynamics and coordinating event management activities

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Masters or B. E/ B. Tech or equivalent degree is preferred
• Soft skills - written and verbal communication writing reports presentation and coordinating with other teams
• Ability to work with a geographically diverse team.
