Program Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified production planner to organize and drive concurrent development projects from requirements through manufacturing release.

Responsibilities include

• Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover prototype demand
• Plan and coordinate material procurement for multiple projects
• Plan and prioritize development activities to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
• Maintain project schedules and project costing.
• Proactively address issues when they arise to achieve minimum disruption
• Document production metrics including prototype units produced and field defect
• Collect and store development ISO documentation, develop and maintain dashboards showing quality performance.
• Collaborate with operations, quality control, warehouse and other organizations

Requirements

An excellent production planner is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. They are organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Strong communication and computer skills are important for this role.

• Proactive nature
• Experience as production planner
• Experience working with multi-level BOM's
• Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
• Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
• Good at math and statistics
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• 4 Year College Degree in business management, Engineering or applicable area

Desired Skills

• Use SolidWorks skills to support drawing revisions ECO process
• Microsoft Project
• 3 years of related experience
