Job Description
What You'll Be Doing
- PMO Lead oversight of IDIQ bid forecast and response as well as delivery execution of any/all task orders procured/issued.
- Manage task orders and/or projects in ways that model delivery excellence by meeting contractual obligations, ensuring risk management, verifying quality management, promoting client satisfaction, realizing profitability targets, and complying with AIS project management standards and processes consistent with Project Management Institute (PMI) and IT standards.
- Direct and control activities for client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
- For each Order, ensure development of an Order Management Plan - descirping the technical approach, organizational resources, risk management, quality assurance, and other management controls to be employed to mee the cost, performance, and schedule requirements throughout Order execution.
- Maintain situational awareness of day-to-day activities on the ground, serving as the first escalation point for the client and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of delivery services.
- Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of current (& potential) task orders and/or projects.
- Build positive relationships with our Delivery Teams, Clients, and AIS coworkers.
- Support project and program team members as needed for successful delivery, and as they identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Thoroughly prepare for all client interactions, inclusive of client negotiations and interfacting with senior management as well as on-time delivery of required, recurring reportings.
- Serve as the primary front-line manager of staff: approve timesheets and expenses, distribute and manage internal communications, deliver performance reviews, provide team mentorship, and help individual team members with career development goals.
Location and Travel Details
This is a remote position with occasional travel (if needed).
Security Clearance and Citizenship Requirements
REQUIRED - Active DoD Secret security clearance at time of award & throughout the duration of contract.
PREFERRED - Active DoD TS and above.
Profile of Success
- Degree - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Business-related program(s).
- Minimum of ten years of proven experience managing IT programs in ways that model delivery excellence: meeting contractual obligations, managing risk, promoting client satisfaction, realizing profitability targets, supporting team morale, and complying with project management standards and processes.
- Working knowledge and experience managing technology, software, and IT infrastructure programs.
- Understand cloud technologies - inclusive of AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle - and hybrid cloud environments.
- Ability to handle multiple complex tasks across multiple development and engineering teams and projects.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, DevSecOps best practices, and Software Development lifecycle.
- Hands-on knowledge of building a critical path and understanding the right questions.
- Critical to the success of this position will be the ability to communicate effectively with multiple clients and multiple-levels of management
- REQUIRED: Active PMI PMP certification
- Appropriate IAW DoD Directive (DoDD) 8140.01, Cyber Workforce Management, certification(s)

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
