Program Manager

Open to hybrid from Springfield, IL, Madison, WI, or Addison, TX.

The Program Manager will lead multiple large projects and/or programs and direct and monitor other project managers.

• Ability to think strategically across the enterprise
• Create and monitor program budgets and program plans
• Responsible managing program team members and deliverables
• Mentor/train less experienced project managers and/team members
• Identify and develop mitigation plans for critical program issues or risks
• Responsible for stakeholder, steering committee and program sponsor reports and communications
• Carry out procedures to ensure that all information technology solutions and services meet company standards and user requirements
• Assist with the creation of the business case
• Define and clarify project scope
• Develop and monitor the project plan
• Develop and monitor the project schedule
• Develop and monitor budget
• Monitor project progress
• Determine the organizational structure of the project team
• Identify roles and responsibilities
• Set team direction
• Coordinating activities across different organizational functions
• Motivating team members
• Assigning work and deliver results consistent with plans

Job Requirements:

• Report and communicate effectively to project team, sponsors and management
• Communicate up to and including executive level management
• Business and Product knowledge spans across all lines of business
• 8+ years project/program management experience
• Certification or course work in project management (i.e. CAPM, PMP, PgMP, CSM, CPO)
• Strongly Preferred: Familiarity with multiple frameworks (waterfall, agile etc…)
