Job Description
Our Fortune 100 financial services client is seeking a Program Manager to lead the planning, resource allocation, and execution of the decommission of a legacy platform that has powered the acquisition orchestration process for more than 27 years. The Program Manager will be responsible for identifying project scope, driving conversations for point of arrival ownerships, researching a replacement platform, prioritizing and delegating pieces of work, and ultimately decommissioning the existing acquisition platform.
The Details:
- Location: Phoenix, AZ or Sunrise, FL (3 days per week onsite required)
- Duration: 6+ month contract with potential conversion to hire

What you’ll do:
- Manage and prioritize multiple workstreams simultaneously while delegating work appropriately
- Partner with Product Management teams to develop viable roadmaps to sunset the existing platform
- Coordinate the execution of project from initiation through release, using SDLC methodologies and Agile/Scrum concepts.
- Work within and across business units to prioritize, plan, and complete the development schedule for major journeys as applicable.
- Handle and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes tied to the initiatives.
- Maintain and organize centralized document repository for key program materials and resources.
- Provide executive-level updates at the program level to key leaders to showcase the health of the overall program and demonstrate a willingness to lead teams to sustainable solutions that scale appropriately within the enterprise.
- Adopt SDLC methods, Agile values, principles.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of technical project management experience
- Deep understanding of all aspects of software design with a demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility
- Experience managing Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions on that meet customer expectations for timeliness and quality
- Experience in developing high-quality presentations and communication materials for an executive audience
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience, is preferred
- Financial services experience strongly preferred, preferably within the card product space.
Additional Information
This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
The estimated pay range for this role is $60-65/hr. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
