Role Summary

We are looking for Program Manager to innovate, win, and grow with us in our Portsmouth, NH office.  As a member of Paymode-X Channel Strategy team you will work with and for the VP Channel Strategy to understand the business model, growth strategy, and all the tools, systems, and processes used to manage administration, operations, compliance, and vendor management.  You will partner closely with the team of highly talented leaders to understand opportunities for improvement. Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to prioritize new initiatives to improve efficiencies, streamline processes, and refine systems to ensure Paymode-X is running efficiently and is well positioned for continued growth. This role is well-suited for an individual that wants to understand how we operate today but challenge the organization to change to suit the business of today.

This position is Hybrid with ability to be in office or on customer site as needed

How you’ll contribute:

  • Work closely with Product and Channel Teams to execute on core objectives and revenue growth.
    • Collaborate on GTM strategy and execution of new and existing Bank channel offerings and fintech partnerships.
    • Partner with sales leaders on converting PMX classic customer to revenue driving customers.
    • Implementation strategies for assisting with client success and ensuring delighted clients.
    • Ensure timely communication and resolution on PMX escalations that impact contractual SLAs.
    • Assist with quarterly business reviews internally and with bank partners.
  • Evaluate different aspects of the business to support continuous learning with operational teams
    • Define sales enablement activities to support channel partners, clients and internal teams.
    • Assess and improve ever changing vendor business needs
    • Provide support for Product and Marketing on vertical-specific vendor value, overall network value, best practices comparisons, etc.
  • Manage projects needed to scale operational success impacting channel revenue growth

What will make you successful:

  • 5+ years of working with financial institutions within their treasury and/or commercial card product solutions 
  • 5+ years of financial technology within the AP/AR space 
  • Ability to drive and manage strategic projects within cross functional teams
  • Balance Vision and Attention to Detail – Pays close attention to details. Is extremely organized and is also able to see the larger systems and strategic priorities to provide support on both a macro and micro level.
  • Excel at communication – Understands audience (CEO, GM, Key contributor), can work with and for all. Has concise verbal and writing experience. Communicates persuasively, clearly and informatively; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; participates in meetings.
  • Are a puzzle Solver – Being a “Curious George”, wants to know the ins-and-outs of things. Able to document understanding from verbal conversations, shares and seeks contributions to develop shared understanding.  Is always transparent on agendas and can swiftly identify and resolves problems for near and long term; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Extreme Interpersonal Skills – Transparent communication, team player (one for all and all for one), Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; maintains confidentiality; listens to others without interrupting; keeps emotions under control; blanketly open to others' ideas and will incorporate and give credit after implementation of ideas.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
