Description

Objective

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Program Development, the Program Manager oversees all insurance-related aspects of their assigned Programs beginning with the conceptual outline of the program, implementation, and ongoing maintenance and success.

Essential Functions

  • Performance tracking including premiums, loss ratios, conversion rates, submission volumes, etc
  • Periodic compliance audits and reviews to ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and state requirements
  • Coordinate with Product Owners, Product Marketing Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the ongoing success of the programs
  • Engaging with carriers to implement renewals, enhancements, and other performance-driven initiatives
  • Assist with creating business cases, product roadmaps, and executive summaries
  • Identifying new and underserved market opportunities
  • Policy and form creation and maintenance
  • Refining the sales and support processes including distribution channels, software and development resources, account management, accounting, and surplus lines requirements

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience with Agencies or Carriers; MGA experience preferred
  • Extensive underwriting and/or compliance background
  • Ability to problem solve and dive deep into complex issues with little supervision
  • Excellent inter-departmental communication skills
  • Highly skilled in Excel, Google, and other technical software products
  • Current P&C License
  • Skilled in written communication and technical writing
