Program Manager - Global Strategy & Operations (GS&O), GS&D

Role Purpose

The role will provide operational, project management and administrative support to the SVP, Global Strategy & Operations (GS&O) and the GS&O leadership team.

GS&O is a key Business Unit within Gartner's Global Services & Delivery business with a mission to deliver ever-increasing client value by helping improve Service Delivery Associate (SDA) productivity and performance.

What you will do:

  • Program/Project management: Organize quarterly Operations Reviews and regular leadership meetings by preparing the agenda, documents, communicating, and tracking follow up actions. Collect status updates on actions and report back on them. Manage and track progress and the adoption and impact of the implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Team Communication: Coordinate communications to all Global Strategy & Ops associates via preparation for Town halls, Monthly email updates, manager meetings, etc. Prepare agendas, documents and collect and synthesize feedback from meetings. Support Quarterly and Annual team recognition program.
  • Administrative services: Provide key administrative and professional best practice services and support. This will include managing a complex calendar and cross-functional schedules, communications and correspondence. Travel and expense management. Proactive support of Gartner tools and other ad hoc administrative requests as needed. Organizing small team events (dinners, team building, etc.)
  • Document management: Organize key GS&O leadership documents on Google Drive and SharePoint
  • Process and Change Improvement: Improve speed and consistency of implementation of improvement initiatives. Identify areas to improve operational processes - e.g., Operations Review planning and execution, Townhalls, Recognition Programs, etc
  • Admin and cross-functional coordination: Work with Business Until and the regional admins to support consistent reporting. Coordinate all important communications across Gartner. Role will interact with Strategy & Ops team, GS&D leaders, Sales and other business groups, Human Resources, Finance, Travel Agents, etc.
  • Coaching: Provide coaching and mentorship to other Program Specialists and Coordinators on GS&O team

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree: proven project management experience and/or project management qualification.
  • Strong time management skills, problem solving ability, and advance project management skills.
  • Excellent organization skills; time management and task flexibility. Ability to multitask and change priorities as needed.
  • Experience supporting senior business leader and team in a large, complex, and fast-paced business environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment.
  • Extensive computer experience & proficiency with Microsoft software, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word. SharePoint and Google Drive experience preferable
  • Must have proven record of work experience in a coordinator, administrator or project management capacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to analyze situation and make sound recommendations and decisions.
  • Self-assured and confident in a variety of settings with a strong belief in own capabilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.

Location: Stamford, CT (Strong preference, can be flexible for the right candidate)
