Program Manager

Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a Program Manager. This is a full-time remote position, with occasional on-site meetings in Washington, DC.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• The Program Manager will oversee the management and execution of all activities performed by contractor personnel, including subcontractors, to meet the project requirements.
• Lead multiple cross-functional project teams, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and achieving program deliverables within specified timelines.
• Ensure effective communication at senior levels within a customer organization.
• Apply Portfolio Management standards and Agile Scrum development methodology.
• Coordinate and manage program deliverables as noted in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, including leading large-scale IT projects.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Agile Scrum development methodology.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience with cross-functional team leadership and senior-level stakeholder engagement.
• Previous USDA experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
