Program Manager
Job Description
Copper River Technologies is seeking a Program Manager to join our team in Alexandria, VA. This position will support the Financial Management and Budget Formulation System Monitoring Support Services for one of our customers at the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS).
This position is located in Alexandria, VA and will be on-site for the first 6 months and hybrid following that time.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Prepare Work breakdown structure as needed
- Ensure Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) is performed as required
- Ensure business process flows are available upon request to the COR and Government Lead
- Design, edit, maintain, and follow the established Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that reflects all tasks required to complete this effort, including both Contractor and Government tasks
- Create and maintain the Helpdesk Metric report, MS Access weekly Reports, training report, organization impact assessments, communication reports, field accounting reports, and meeting materials, agenda, and minutes
- Maintain configuration documentation
- Provide workforce management support for the customer and communications initiatives and efforts for FMD
- Assist in developing and recommending process improvements that will enable WHS to operate more effectively and efficiently
- Provide input for process improvement transactional and functional in nature, to include creating or updating standard operating procedures
- Track trends to look for common issues and areas for training opportunities to improve both functionality and transactional success.
- Provide questionnaires and feedback online monthly to the Government Lead and COR
- Provide asset capitalization and depreciation white papers when requested
Requirements:
- Clearance
- SecretÂ
- Education:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Finance or a related field is preferred or relevant military experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Skills/Experience:
- 3+ years experience working in Department of Defense (DOD) business operations environment
- 5+ years experience overseeing DOD programs
