Job Description

The Analytical Solutions Division (ASD) of Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc., has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Program Manager Assistant working from our Huntsville, AL facility. This candidate will be responsible for assisting a Sr. Program Manager and associated project managers with managing scope, budget, schedule and deliverables of dynamic R&D projects. This position requires a well-organized and dedicated individual to coordinate and execute program tasks with a cross-functional teams and complete all activities within required deadlines. The ideal candidate will assist in providing on-site project management/administrative support and coordination to a complex contract, project task, or business unit. Duties include contract accounting and reporting, project schedule focus to management, tracking annual fiscal plans and monthly updates, maintenance and reporting, contract administration, and purchasing. He/she will maintain contract budgets, estimate materials, equipment, production costs and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with managing project scope, budget, schedule and deliverables
  • Coordinating and executing program tasks across cross-functional teams
  • Assist in providing on-site project management / administrative support

Required Skills:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • 0 - 2 years of related experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a SECRET clearance from the US Department of Defense
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Well-organized and dedicated

Preferred Skills:

  • Active / current SECRET Clearance from the US Department of Defense
