Program Manager, Global Trade

Job Description

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced program management professional to join a growing Legal and Compliance team and help lead and manage global trade-related strategic programs and key initiatives.

In this role, you will work closely with internal Trade/Legal teams and also cross-functionally with various Applied Business Units to manage trade-focused projects including business process mapping, technology enhancements, and strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational excellence and mitigating related areas of compliance risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Define scope, document requirements and develop detailed project plans to lead/support key business & trade-focused initiatives.
• Clearly identify critical milestones, map timelines, spot risks, negotiate resources and assign ownership to drive timely progress of key programs.
• Keep documentation organized and maintain systematized repositories to help improve visibility, increase accountability, and enable enhanced decision-making & governance.
• Study and use data to identify process gaps and recommend improvements that will increase efficiency and reduce compliance risk.
• Provide oversight, coordinate across stakeholders, communicate progress and manage escalations on projects.
• Prepare and present program updates, key results, and program ROIs to stakeholders and management.
• Manage agenda and presentation development for project-related team meetings, executive updates, and external meetings.
• Manage various processes and workflows, applications and tools, and improve the Trade function's operational efficiency.
• Help build and maintain playbooks, procedures, program websites, online tools, and mobile apps.
• Help to develop KRIs and KPIs to measure program success and create and maintain data-driven dashboards that demonstrate key results.
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the products, services, and operations of the company.

Qualifications

• MBA, Master's Degree in Trade Management, or similar advanced degree from a recognized university. Minimum 6 - 8 years' relevant program management experience, preferably in the technology sector.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis, and excellent project management skills.
• Experience in leading multi-disciplinary project teams or global initiatives including collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, flexible, impeccable integrity, and good judgment.
• Collaborative by nature and able to build strong partnerships.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, global environment and ability to manage and prioritize a diverse and complex workload.
• Self-motivated, driven, and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong presentation, Power Point and data visualization skills to communicate with stakeholders and influence decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technology background preferred.
• Additional language skills a plus.
