Program Manager - Books & Records (Hybrid)
Job Description
Broadridge is growing! We are hiring for the Program Manager role. The Program Manager will support the Director of the Program Management or PMO in the creation of project charters and associated project plans. The Project Manager will maintain relationships with Business Unit leads and leadership to manage expectations of service, including work products, timing, and the value to be delivered for those project(s) under his/her domain.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees and directs all aspects of project execution to ensure they are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Works with relevant stakeholders and technical experts to assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
- Develops detailed project plans and project documentation to build and manage the project team
- Manages a project team by setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and reviewing work outputs
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with stakeholders responsible for successful project delivery while coordinating their project execution efforts
- Tracks project outputs and metrics to portfolio and program-level sponsors and reports project status
- Identifies, tracks, and escalates risk, issues and dependencies to appropriate portfolio and program-level sponsors
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs, escalating to appropriate portfolio and program oversight teams when required
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, Visio, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong strategic business acumen
- Ability to translate business acumen into actionable plans
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field
- At least 7 years relevant experience
- Experience as a project manager supporting major projects within a large global organization
- Demonstrated success in leading and sustaining an effective Digital Transformation initiative.
- Demonstrated influence and credibility with senior IT and business management.
- Has proven project management and leadership skills and a good knowledge of business analysis.
- Has strong planning, communication and presentation skills and is proficient in project quality management.
- PMP certification. PMP Management certification preferred.
- Ability to connect functional teams with technical teams to achieve effective solutions
