As a Program Manager on the Business Operations Team, you will be responsible for creating and fostering a modern data culture that encourages ad-hoc analysis and enables informed decision-making to drive business outcomes. You will have a great opportunity to collaborate with a cross-functional team from many parts of Rockwell Automation. In this position, you will be a key player in ensuring that work is identified and scoped appropriately to meet the goals and objectives of the software & control business unit, particularly in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement the business intelligence roadmap and reporting framework.
  • Partner cross-functionally with business leaders to identify reporting needs and gather data requirements
  • Ensures the organization has the necessary information to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
  • Gather BI work requirements, prioritize workload and projects based on business needs and available resources.
  • Maintain current.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain business intelligence-related products that drive business results and encourage ad-hoc analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement of reporting/analytics through process or tooling enhancements and/or automation.
  • Work with IT (enterprise data management team) to ensure we get the required data for our business intelligence reporting needs.
  • Build strong working relationships and develop deep partnership with the business and turn business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Ensures existing data sources are always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.
  • Think and work independently, demonstrate creativity, and deliver quick results.
  • Train non-technical business users how to interact with BI tools and content.
  • Mentor other team members in BI tools like Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Data Science or in a related field
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Expert to advanced proficiency with Power BI, DAX, Power Query M, Power Apps and Excel.
  • Strong database and SQL skills and in related tools like SSMS, Databricks.
  • Strong overall end-to-end data skills including the ability to analyze & perform deep dives into complex data and data sources, extract, manipulate, blend and visualize.
  • Problem-solving skills; capable of understanding the big picture, anticipating business needs, and removing barriers to execution.
  • Interest and ability to see a problem through to the end by seeking out and recruiting the necessary resources to identify the root cause(s) and lead the corrective actions.
  • Certified in Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt or Green Belt)
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, One Note) and SharePoint.
  • Experience with an ERP system such as Oracle or SAP.
