Job Title: Program Manager - DER System of Record
Duration: 6 months
Location: Hybrid - 1WTC
Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Onsite 2-3 days a week.

Description:
The Program Manager will oversee the development and execution of a Distributed Energy Resources - DER System of Record, serving as a critical interface to the Enterprise DERMS. Key responsibilities include team formation, development rhythm establishment, stakeholder engagement, communications, budget management, portfolio reporting, outcomes tracking, roadmap and milestone planning, and SDLC documentation.
Team Overview:
Team Size: 4-6
Roles: Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Change Management
Initiatives: VPP DERMS and System of Record Buildout
Tools/Technology: Cloud Platform (AWS, Snowflake)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder engagement
- Program strategy development and presentation deliveries.
- Coordinating progress, risk, and impediment mitigation
- Working in a fast-paced setup and navigating ambiguity if required
Interaction Level:
Track progress and project planning with team members.
Weekly connect with hiring manager
Top Priority for Initial Weeks/Months:
- Roadmap and program milestone setup
- Stakeholder engagement and report outs
- Team norming and budget planning
Challenges in Role: Navigating through complex projects with high-risk dependencies and broad business impact.
Required Skills:
Great communication skills and ability to articulate and present.
Ability to run program portfolio and strategy.
Overall planning, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder engagement
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Utilities experience
Budget management
Vendor engagement experience
Education Requirements:
Experience in Lieu of Degree Certification Preferences:
PMP (nice to have, not required)
Experience: 5-7 years

Recommending process, product, or service improvements
Solving unique and complex problems
Taking full responsibility for project definition, documentation, and successful completion
Defining approach/policy and setting standards for managing portfolios, programs, and projects
Developing financial plans and forecasts
Leading the definition of a portfolio of programs, projects, and/or ongoing service provision
