General Summary:
Unum is looking for a Program Manager to join our Enterprise Data Integrity team. This is a newly crafted position that will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while communicating the progress with the business and stakeholders. As the Program Manager, you will support the delivery of multiple strategic initiatives dedicated to improving the quality and availability of data across the enterprise. To be successful in this role, you must be able to work in an agile environment with business and technical stakeholders to support the delivery of multiple strategic initiatives dedicated to improving the quality and availability of data across the enterprise.
Job Specifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent business experience
- 2+ years' experience in program management
- 2+ years' experience project management
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to all levels of management and create strong working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to influence others and drive results
- Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills
- Exceptional analytical ability and evaluative thinking skills
- Ability to design process and/or business solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent collaboration skills and facilitation skills
- Proficient in use of spreadsheet, documentation and presentation applications
- Demonstrated experience in design, implementation and monitoring of workflow in a complex environment
- Understanding of departmental and corporate reporting necessary to meet regulatory and audit requirements
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage workflow process and measures for technology and business projects and initiatives to improve productivity, cycle and service standards, and data analytics.
- Develop, implement and manage key strategies for the department.
- Responsible for all aspects of reporting for assigned initiatives, including development, distribution, usability, continuous improvement, and follow-up.
- Serve in a leadership role on key department initiatives working closely with management and peers.
- Direct and partner with management to improve and build data to effectively manage projects, trends and initiatives.
- Provide budget and financial support through budget planning, monitoring and managing expenses effectively with an eye towards overall cost savings.
- Perform complex project planning and management. Define broad project outline and determine/recommend project specifics as needed. Perform cost benefit analysis of initiatives when appropriate. Develop and provide training.
- Responsible for continuous improvement of management information
- May perform other duties as assigned
This is a hybrid opportunity. This role can sit at any of our US campuses.

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.
$79,300.00-$138,900.00
Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not. All benefits are subject to the terms and conditions of individual Plans.
