OPPORTUNITY
The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership in the administration of corporate insurance and enterprise risk management with focus on identification, prioritization and mitigation of risks that would impact the ability of the organization to carry out its functions in some material respect.
As Program Manager-Enterprise Risk Management, primary responsibilities include:
- Select and develop Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks, and to manage risks according to an enterprise risk management framework
- Establish the Enterprise Risk Management architecture for the company.
- Oversee and or monitor all operational risk management activities of the organization.
- Monitors and analyzes risks within the company's business units and reports on these risks to Hydrite’s General Counsel.
- Direct the purchase of insurance programs, management of claims and loss control activities.
- Manage relationships with third party service providers including brokers, and insurers.
- Preparing loss analyses and budgets, identifying exposures, recommending solutions, implementing approved programs, promoting loss prevention, updating and monitoring compliance with insurance procedures and managing safety/risk management manuals.
- Coordinate litigation matters of the Company with senior management.
- The Program Manager – Enterprise Risk Management works closely with executive management of the Company insurers, insurance brokers and attorneys.
- Routine contact with the Transportation Department and Subsidiary, IT Department, Human Resource Department and the SQRA Department.
- Update SOP Procedures that apply to Risk.
- Assure administrative needs of the department are met.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
- This position reports to the General Counsel.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Preferably in business administration and minimum 10 years of experience in risk management.
- Working knowledge of insurance coverage is required
- Working knowledge of enterprise risk management framework and tools
- Proven track record of advising, influencing, and partnering with leadership on strategic issues
- Ability and willingness to perform both strategic and tactical elements of the role
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel required.
