What You Will Do:β’ Support the acquisition of one of our country's most advanced new weapons platforms in this key functional role.β’ Develop and coordinate DoD 5000.02 acquisition milestone plans and associated reporting documentation.β’ Prepare documentation, presentation materials, and staff packages to support acquisition milestone coordination and decisions.β’ Staff acquisition planning documentation and reports at the HQ-AF and DoD levels.β’ Develop and support executive-level (O-7 and SES) briefings as well as scheduling and coordinating acquisition documents, reports, and briefings with senior Air Force and government stakeholders.
What You Will Need:β’ A team player attitude with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and ensure the success of the mission.β’ Five years of recent experience in an acquisition program office on an Acquisition Category (ACAT) I or ACAT II DoD acquisition program as either PM, deputy PM, or Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead.β’ An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI federal security clearance.β’ Level II Acquisition Professional Development Program certification. β’ Program management experience with the Earned Value Management System on one or more ACAT I and/or ACAT II acquisition programs. β’ Experience preparing documentation, presentation materials, and staff packages to support acquisition milestone coordination and decisionsβ’ Master's degree and 15 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree and 25 years of relevant DoD acquisition experience. At least 5 of those years of in a SAP and/or SCI environment
