Primary Responsibilities:
Program Manager I are team enablers, passionate about people and program management, who lead through example. As a Program Manager I, you will be supporting the business operations in Space Destinations through your skills and expertise. You will be responsible for all programmatic aspects of your assigned programs/projects with responsibility for customer/partner relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning, tracking, and reporting, technical execution, and ensuring overall program performance objectives are achieved. You may be leading your own programs/projects or may be assigned as a deputy on larger efforts. You will be instrumental in business resource planning/tracking in coordination with other organizational entities and will support formulating a team that can fulfill program requirements. You will be key in ensuring program issues and problems are identified, tracked, and resolved and the success of the program. You will be responsible for program risk management and ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, tracked, and managed. You also may be involved in supporting new business pursuits leading and/or supporting the preparation of programmatic estimates and/or leading the programmatic aspects of proposals as part of a capture team.
Must-haves:• Bachelor's degree in Business, or technical related discipline• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and drive others to success• Requires strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules• Requires ability to manage complex situations, delegate authority, lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situations
Preferred:• Managing projects requiring Earned Value Management• Understanding with application tools and data architectures• Experience with ensuring compliance with approved Corporate and ISO 9001:2000 Policies and Processes

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $91,154.71 - $125,337.72
Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
