Program Manager II (Risk Management)

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Program Manager II, located at Hanscom Airforce Base, Bedford, MA.The Program Manager III's primary function will be to support Cloud One for risk management process improvement/implementation. Selected candidate will have strong working knowledge and experience with the standard DoD risk management approach.

Responsibilities include:

• The Program Manager II shall possess thorough knowledge of risk cube process.
• Identify the subject risk in order to identify hazards associated with an operation or activity.
• Use quantitative and/or qualitative measures to determine the probability and severity of negative effects that may result from exposure to hazards and risk.
• Chief of Staff for Branch Chief, including coordinating as Action Officer for key presentations such as PMR, CIO, CCC, POM requests, current year spend plans and other high level task management.
• Cross coordination of schedules, risk management and key team management tools.
• Lead and coordinate all preparatory work for key team meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• 10+ years of experience as a Program Manager with at least 3 years in DoD environment.
• Or 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required
• Bachelor's and or Master's Degree; PMP Certificate preferred.

Possesses the knowledge, experience, and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to the technical/professional discipline they are performing. Possesses the ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and processes related to their area of expertise. Shall also possess the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program/project guidelines (Program Office and Staff Level Support interface).
