Program Manager III, NPI Product Operations, Technical Infrastructure

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience working in New Product Introduction (NPI) and hardware manufacturing for supply chain operations.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Science or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Operations or a relevant field.
• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• 5 years experience in hardware and manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge about hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), process documentation, assembly and test processes.

In this role, you will be the operations and supply chain interface to the product development and deployment teams with the responsibility for motivating operations new product development as well as supporting those products through production ramp.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions.
• Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality and capacity parameters. Ensure production transitions meet program goals.
• Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., material availability, cost/assembly/test/BOM/capacity readiness and transition plans).
• Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand.
